The Marine Tech Tour said Terry Galuska, a former vice president of sales and marketing for NAPA Auto Parts, will be the keynote speaker for the three-day industry suppliers conference in Stuart, Fla.

Galuska will speak on Jan. 22, just ahead of an evening reception. Dealer training sessions will be held on Jan. 23 and 24.

Galuska is expected to talk about how to increase revenue and profits in parts and accessories while improving efficiencies in service shops. The conference, sponsored by Gold Eagle Co., will be held at the Hutchinson Island Marriott Beach Resort & Marina.

More than 100 dealers have registered to attend the three-day event. Registration will remain open until Wednesday of this week, although organizers said space is limited.

The American Boat and Yacht Council has approved seminar attendees to receive continuing-education credits. Thirteen companies are scheduled to offer seminars, including 3M, Garmin, Pettit Paint, Seakeeper and SureShade.

The conference is operated by the Haimes Coleman Group, a manufacturer representative group. It was established to give marine industry suppliers a platform to engage with distributor sales representatives and marine dealers.
