The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation announced that its Take Me Fishing campaign mobile site, TakeMeFishing.org/mobile, was selected as an official honoree in the Mobile Web Lifestyle (Handheld Devices) category of the 16th annual Webby Awards.

The TakeMeFishing.org mobile site, which offers on-the-go access to the site's local “how to” and “where to” boating and fishing information, was recognized for excellence in the top 15 percent of all mobile work submitted.

“A Webby Award is the Internet's most respected symbol for success and we are honored to be recognized in the mobile category,” RBFF president and CEO Frank Peterson said in a statement. "Our mobile site was created based on consumer insights that individuals want information on the go.”
