Take Me Fishing website wins communications award

The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation announced that its Take Me Fishing campaign website was honored with a 2012 Gold Circle Award from the American Society of Association Executives.

TakeMeFishing.org was honored for excellence in communications in the website category. This year's competition received more than 150 entries from association and non-profit organizations.

“We're thrilled to be recognized by ASAE for the fourth year in a row,” RBFF president and CEO Frank Peterson said in a statement. “We are constantly enhancing TakeMeFishing.org with new, innovative features and information and are extremely honored to be recognized among the country's best associations.”

The annual Gold Circle Award competition honors associations and non-profit organizations that demonstrate excellence in communication across 11 categories, including magazines, newsletters, websites, blogs, podcasts, media relations campaigns and innovative communications.
