Texas marina floats new ship’s store into place

Chronically low water levels on Lake Travis in Texas have made national news in recent years, but the crew at Lakeway Marina was in a celebratory mood.

On Wednesday, the marina’s 49-year-old ship’s store was replaced with one three times the size. The new store was built off-site and brought to Lakeway by a flotilla of boats acting as tugs on a six-hour journey.
