Teakdecking Hires New HR Director

The company said Lisa Eding will take charge of employee-related strategic planning, staff development and compliance.

Teakdecking Systems appointed Lisa Eding as its new director of human resources.

Eding has 25 years of of HR experience, including 18 years in the skilled trades, Teakdecking said in a statement.

CEO Richard Strauss said Eding brings “strong business acumen, strategic planning and long-term business vision.”

“This most recent addition to the TDS family promises a wealth of in-depth, hands-on experience to lead organizational development and human resources initiatives,” he said.

Eding will provide strategic planning for employee satisfaction, staff development and policy and legal compliance, the statement said. She previously served in the publishing, automotive and entertainment industries, with concentrations in leadership development, employee relations and lifelong learning.
