The Moorings opens new charter base in Turkey

The Moorings, of Clearwater, Fla., opened a new base in Orhaniye, Turkey, for the 2009 sailing season. The new location will offer a range of monohull and catamaran sailboats from 40 to 44 feet.

Orhaniye is located on the west coast of the Hisanoru peninsula with a mountainous coastline that offers numerous anchorages within easy reach of the base. The peninsula stretches for 30 miles into the Aegean Sea between the Greek Islands of Kos and Rhodes.
