TowBoatU.S. honors Georgia operator

TowBoatU.S. Lake Lanier (Ga.) was recently named Tower of the Year by BoatU.S.

TowBoatU.S. Lake Lanier is owned and operated by Capt. Robert Estrada and located at Waterfront Lanier Harbor Marina. It has towed and salvaged more than 10,000 boats since 1994 and has handled everything from 8-foot PWCs to 125-foot mega-houseboats.

Estrada also has been featured on the Nuts & Bolts Boating Series DVDs.

"Capt. Estrada deserves to be recognized for his stellar service to boaters, as well as his top-flight internal operations," said Jerry Cardarelli, BoatU.S. vice president of towing services, in a statement. "We are very proud of his operation and for the professionalism of his staff."
