Florida towboat operator Capt. Matt Moss opened a fifth location, TowBoatU.S. Lake Harris.

The new operation joins Moss's network of central Florida TowBoatU.S. ports, which include locations on Lake George, Lake Monroe and Crescent Lake, as well as in Palatka.

TowBoatU.S. Lake Harris is located at the Dead River Marina in Tavares, Fla., and its service area includes the Harris Chain of Lakes and the Ocklawaha River. Stationed at the port is a 21-foot response vessel.

"We patrol the lake from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening. People know we are there and we are ready to assist," Moss said in a statement.
