Capt. Shane O'Neal recently opened his third TowBoatU.S. location on Tennessee's Watts Bar Lake.

The opening of TowBoatU.S. Watts Bar Lake at Euchee Marina in Ten Mile, Tenn., follows the recent downstream acquisitions of TowBoatU.S. Scottsboro, Ala., and TowBoatU.S. Rogersville, Ala., and the previous opening of TowBoatU.S. Nickajack Lake, Tenn., in 2009.

O'Neal now owns five TowBoatU.S. ports servicing boaters on the Tennessee River in Tennessee and Alabama. He opened TowBoatU.S. Watts Bar Lake to handle an increase in calls and improve his response times. He previously had to trailer his towboats to the lake.

"Folks will run their radios all day at Sand Island, then when it's time to go home their battery isn't able to start the motor. I can get you safely home 24/7," he said.
