The Marine Retailers Association of the Americas and Baird Research launched the Pulse Report in December 2013 as the first of its kind for marine retailers. Trade Only is now partnering with Baird to participate in distributing the survey and reporting its results.
Trade Only believes its print and online readers will value the monthly reports, which analyze industry data points such as new-boat demand, inventory levels and access to credit.
The reports also include the Marine Retail Sentiment Index, a sort of confidence index for retailers. It provides a glimpse into how dealers feel about current and future market conditions.
