U.S. Superyacht Association names board of directors


The U.S. Superyacht Association recently announced its 2010-2011 board of directors.

Tim Davey, of Global Marine Travel, and Billy Smith, of Trinity Yachts, will continue in their roles as chairman and vice chair, respectively. They are joined on the executive committee by returning directors Mark Cline, of Cline Financial Group, Michael Karcher, of Karcher, Canning & Karcher, and John Mann, of Bluewater Books & Charts.

Newly elected to the USSA board are Michael Bach, of Fraser Yacht Services, and Eugene Sweeney, of Marshall Islands Yacht Registry.

"We have a very dedicated and committed board of directors," Davey said in a statement. "We are proud to add such respected industry professionals as Michael Bach and Eugene Sweeney to the group."
