Uflex Adds to Sales and Marketing Team

Sarasota, Fla.-based Uflex USA — a manufacturer of marine mechanical, hydraulic and electronic steering systems, engine controls, steering wheels, trim tabs and more — is bolstering its sales and marketing team with three new hires.

Robert Grantham brings three decades of marine industry experience to his role as OEM sales manager, including a 24-year stint with Mercury and Brunswick Boat Group and several years with Suzuki.

Recent college graduates Kayla Harris and Cole Smith also joined Uflex — Harris in a marketing coordinator position and Smith in sales.

General manager Scott Rath said the company has seen unprecedented growth in the last few years and that the time was right to add talent.

“It’s often said that best way the future is to create it,” Rath said in a statement, “and we’re excited to have Robert, Cole and Kayla here to help us do just that. “[They] bring a fresh perspective and a host of new ideas to the Uflex team.”
