ValvTect Petroleum Products and Boatersbook.com formed an alliance that will promote ValvTect-branded marinas and fuel dock locations.

The arrangement will give boaters easy access via the Web and smart phones to locate more than 550 ValvTect marine fuel locations. The alliance will create individual online profile pages for ValvTect locations in the United States that will have information about each location’s offerings, as well as links to photos, video, the ValvTect product line, company news and customer reviews.

The alliance additionally will be promoted in print editions of the MPC Boaters Directory.

“We’ve had tremendous success with Boatersbook.com profile pages and the marine industry is increasingly drawn to them,” Boatersbook.com CEO Richard D’Alessio said in a statement. “Over 10,000 U.S. marine businesses have added content to their Boatersbook.com page and our alliance with ValvTect will be our latest improvement, allowing three entities to add content to a page — the ValvTect-certified marina, ValvTect corporate and the end customer.”

Boatersbook.com contains more than 30,000 marine businesses serving the industry and the recreational boating community in the United States.
