Vanderbilt Luxury Pontoons LLC has shipped the first model from its new production facility in Fort Wayne, Ind. The first 700T Series model was delivered to The Marina on Lake Gage in Angola, Ind. The Marina is one of Vanderbilt’s newest dealers.

The first boat from the facility is the 700T Series, a 27-foot, twin-engine luxury pontoon with continuous-length M channels from bow to stern, Vanderbilt Luxury Pontoons said in a statement on Wednesday.

David Hegel, vice president of Commercial Sales and Marketing, said Vanderbilt “wanted to stretch the limits of the performance and design” after his company formed its own limited liability corporation and commenced production at Fort Wayne.

“This boat is remarkable in every sense of the word, and we cannot wait to continue production of the 700T Series,” Hegel said. “Additional new models like our 700S single-engine model and a smaller pontoon model are also currently in development.”
