Venture markets marinas through video

Cinematographer Ed Kukla has started a new venture, Starboard Films, to help marinas and charter boat operators market their business through video.

Kukla is an avid boater with more than 20 years experience on the water and is currently living aboard his Endeavour 42 sloop. He also is a 20-year veteran freelance cinematographer. His experiences range from marketing films for Fortune 500 companies to a variety of programming for the Discovery Networks, History Channel, HGTV and ESPN.

The main focus of Starboard Films is marketing videos and video tours of marinas for use on their Web site, external marketing Web sites, trade shows and boat shows, DVD mailers, YouTube, and more. Other capabilities include video tours for charter boat operators, personal yacht videos and legacy videos for yacht owners as well as other marine-related video production.

Starboard Films is equipped with broadcast level high-definition camera equipment. The firm is available for production throughout the United States and internationally.
