During filming of the 2015 adaptation of the 1991 movie “Point Break,” Ocean Emerald was spotted in Italy at the port of Brindisi after filming in South Tyrol and the surrounding waters.

Floating Life — the charter and management agency of the yacht — finalized the logistics of the luxury motoryacht, along with Eagle Pictures.

In the latest trailers, “Point Break” protagonist Johnny Utah is seen joining Bodhi, the leader of a criminal gang of surfers, on board Ocean Emerald for one of the infamous heist gang's parties.

Built for the fractional ownership program managed and chartered by Floating Life — which allows people to purchase a one-eighth share in a superyacht (giving access to the entire fleet) with 30 nights annually onboard split between the Mediterranean and Caribbean — Ocean Emerald was designed by Foster+Partners. It was built in 2009 by Rodriguez Yachts.

She has five suites for as many as 12 guests at any one time and has a permanent crew of seven.
