VIDEO: Scarab jetboats appear on ‘Price is Right’

Scarab jetboats were recently selected as grand prizes on the CBS weekday game show “The Price is Right.”

“We are always looking for effective ways to gain exposure for our boat brands, and ‘The Price is Right’ opportunity was an easy decision,” Scarab president Roch Lambert said in a statement. “Purchasing television spot advertising is typically cost-prohibitive. With this promotional partnership, the exposure and impressions value we have received with the show is far more reaching than spot buys.”

The first show aired on Oct. 25 and featured the Scarab 165. The boat received more than 20 seconds of air time, plus an additional 12 to 15 seconds with host Drew Carey.

Future shows are scheduled for Nov. 20 and Dec. 9.
