Harris Equipment Systems of Sarasota, Fla., is now part of W.E. Johnson Equipment Co., which has sold and serviced mobile lift and hoist equipment throughout Florida for more than 60 years. The list of brands the company now carries includes Marine Travelift, Clark, Komatsu, Doosan, Nordock and Shuttlelift.

“This purchase expands our sales area to include all of Florida, as well as south Georgia, as Marine Travelift’s full-service dealership,” Gary Work, president of W.E. Johnson, said in a statement. The company’s primary marine product line is Marine Travelift.

“Our expertise in the day-to-day working of boatyards and marinas, along with Harris Equipment employees who are joining us, should provide a smooth transition through the coming months,” Work added.
