Wakeboarding Magazine will present its Wake Awards on Sept. 10 in Orlando, Fla., during the opening festivities of Surf Expo.

“Each year the Wake Awards bring everyone out to celebrate accomplishments, have fun with friends and hand out some hardware in the process,” Wakeboarding Magazine editor-in-chief Shawn Perry said in a statement. “Obviously, this year has been exciting and heavy for the entire sport and we are thrilled that everyone here at Wakeboarding Magazine can put together this event and give back to the sport.”

Some of the awards given are Best Wakeboarder, Best Women's Wakeboarder and Best Rail Rider. Past winners include Harley Clifford, Meagan Ethell and Graeme Burress.
