Waterway Guide releases 2012 Great Lakes edition

Dozier's Waterway Guide, which is updated annually by experienced on-the-water cruising editors, announced the release of its 2012 Great Lakes Waterway Guide.

“We are extremely excited to have this latest edition available for sale,” publisher Jack Dozier said in a statement. “This newly released guide has been completely revamped and reorganized for extended Great Loop coverage.”

This cruising companion explores the Great Lakes, as well as the inland portions of the Great Loop Cruise from New York to the Great Lakes and from Chicago to the Gulf of Mexico.

The guide features mile-by-mile navigation information, aerial photography with marked routes, marina listings and locater charts, anchorage information and expanded “Goin' Ashore” articles on ports along the way.

The 2012 Great Lakes guide contains:

• New Triangle Loop coverage

• New photos

• A reorganized and updated bridges and locks section

• An updated customs section in the “Skipper’s Handbook”
