Web video service debuts

Marine Web Services launched Web Site Flix as part of its dealer Web site solutions. Web Site Flix allows dealers to upload and manage videos for use on their sites.

"It's no secret that the attention spans of today's consumers are getting shorter," said Dave Valentine, national sales manager for Marine Web Services, in a statement. "MWS's Web Site Flix is an excellent way for dealers to both grab and keep their site visitors' attention by offering dealership-specific videos directly on their Web site."

MWS's Web Site Flix allows a dealership to upload an unlimited number of videos, each up to 80 MB in size. Each video can be labeled with a title, description and keywords that make the video and the Web site easier for search-engines to find. Videos are considered property of the dealership and will not be redistributed by MWS.

Once uploaded, the videos and associated information appear in a video library on the dealer's Web site. Web Site Flix allows dealers to load videos to listings of their dealer-loaded inventory as well.

For information, contact MWS at (877) 246-7915 or via e-mail at sales@marinewebservices.com.

Marine Web Services and Soundings Publications are divisions of Dominion Enterprises.
