This month’s Pulse Report survey asks dealers to weigh in on October market conditions, as well as forecasting the strength of the winter boat show season.

The five-question survey was launched by the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas and Baird Research. Soundings Trade Only later partnered with Baird to help distribute the survey and report its results.

The surveys analyze such data points as new-boat demand, inventory levels and access to credit. They also include the Marine Retail Sentiment Index, a confidence index for retailers.
