Williams Jet Tenders Expands

The 22-foot Evojet is Williams’ largest offering, and it will look to build larger models with the facility expansion.
Williams Jet Tenders said it plans to retool its U.K. facility to allow for increased production and the ability to build larger models.

Williams has partnered with several European builders, including Custom Line, on models with garages designed specifically for a Williams tender.
The RIB manufacturer said in a statement that it is investing $1.36 million in its 80,000-square-foot Oxfordshire plant to accommodate new, larger molds. It will dedicate the area to its Evojet line, with an eye toward building larger models.
Williams offers 13 models in five ranges from 9 to 22 feet. When the facility is completed, Williams said it will be able to to produce more than 1,000 tenders a year. The new space also expands its closed-molding capabilities.
“Last year was a landmark year for the company, which has continued into 2021,” director and co-founder John Hornsby said in the statement. “We have implemented many new changes and have set out key goals and ambitions for the next five years. … These decisions are all part of future-proofing our company and facilities to enable our product and business plans.”
