English jet-tender manufacturer Williams Performance Tenders appointed James Robinson as its new marketing director.
The company said Robinson has 25 years of boating industry experience and has been in charge of sales and marketing for Fairline since 2002. Prior to that, he was president of Fairline’s U.S.-based subsidiary, responsible for the development of the brand and dealer network throughout the Americas, and product manager for Lewmar Marine Ltd.
Williams said the appointment follows a strong year, with the company celebrating its 10-year anniversary and holding its strongest-ever order book. The company said it has ambitious plans for 2015 with the extension of its premises in Oxford and the recruitment of an additional five staff members to meet growing demand for its Dieseljet, Turbojet and newly launched Sportjet ranges.
