Women’s fishing event set for Florida in March

The non-profit Ladies, Let's Go Fishing Foundation will host a Gulf Coast Fishing University March 11-12 at the Greater Pine Island Elks Lodge in Bokeelia, Fla.

Women, men and teenagers can learn and practice fishing at several hands-on skill stations on March 11, then have an option to fish inshore from charter boats and kayaks the next day.

Registration includes a networking reception and fundraisers, classes and hands-on practice. Guided fishing on March 12 is additional.
