Xantrex donates to non-profit group

Xantrex Technology USA Inc., a subsidiary of Schneider Electric, continues its corporate heritage of supporting worthy projects and missions that improve life through clean electrical power.

Most recently, Xantrex partnered with HEsentme, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people in developing nations.

"It is a source of immense pride for us to know that our products are indeed making a difference in the lives of an entire community that can really benefit from our technology," said David Norman, director of marketing and strategy at Xantrex Technology USA, in a statement.

"We are committed to developing efficient energy and environmentally conscious products and are pleased to learn about the life-changing results experienced by those less fortunate than us," he added. "We will continue to support these efforts as much as and whenever possible."

Connecticut spring show adds charity benefit

The Connecticut Spring Boat Show will be held Friday May 4 through Sunday, May 6, at Brewer Essex Island Marina in Essex, Conn., and this year will be the first time that admission fees will benefit the charity SailsUP4Cancer

AIM announces new hires

Catapult Creative Labs, the internal marketing communications agency of Active Interest Media, has hired Andrea Kupfer as vice president, account executive and Christina Erb LoVullo as creative services director. Kupfer will lead Catapult’s long-term sales growth and profitability and Erb LoVullo will oversee marketing and creative services.
