Cruising sailors and YouTube personalities Duca and Roberta of Odd Life Crafting will co-host a live chat with Xantrex “tech doctor” Don Wilson and solar project manager Wesley Shuen this afternoon at 5 o’clock (ET). The discussion will center on the resurrection of the couple’s 44-foot sailboat with a Xantrex Freedom XC system.

The session will take place on the Odd Life Crafting YouTube channel and a Facebook Live feed hosted by Xantrex.

The couple recently restored a sailboat that had sat for more than 20 years, installing a Xantrex Freedom XC inverter/charger, MPPT charge controller and solar panels. After fielding questions from their more than 184,000 YouTube subscribers, many of which they couldn’t answer, they decided to co-host a session with experts from Xantrex. Their YouTube videos average more than 100,000 views each, according to a press release.

While questions can be asked during the live session, they also can be submitted before the broadcast at the Odd Life’s You Tube teaser, as well as Xantrex’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

A recording of the Q&A will be available after the live session.
