Xantrex Technology, a subsidiary of Schneider Electric, announced that Webasto Product North America selected the company's inverter/chargers to power its marine air-conditioning systems.

The Webasto FCF-DV 5000 and FCF-DV 9000 air conditioning systems are now available with the Xantrex Freedom HF or the Xantrex IP1012 Weatherproof Inverter/Charger.

The IP1012 model features certified ignition protection and is used when the Webasto system is installed in a gasoline engine room or compartment susceptible to moisture. The Freedom HF, a compact and lightweight inverter/charger, is the perfect complement to Webasto's quiet and compact system.

"We are extremely pleased to include the Xantrex products in our systems," Webasto Product North America Marine Division director David Wollard said in a statement. "The Xantrex inverter/chargers are known for their quality and performance and they add tremendous value to the Webasto systems."
