Executives at Xtreme Tower Products are reflecting on advancements made in wakeboard towers and within their own company as they celebrate 10 years in business this month.

"In the last 10 years working with boat manufacturers we've seen wakeboard towers go from an afterthought to the main focus with importance now placed on achieving an integrated tower design that complements the lines of the boat," said Tony Williams, XTP's co-founder and president, in a statement.

Since 1999, XTP has designed and manufactured more than 100,000 towers while watching the sport grow from a limited X-Games following to a mainstream water sport. During that time, the company has grown from a 3,000-square-foot plant to more than 60,000 square feet of manufacturing space today.

XTP also has incorporated the latest engineering tools and technology including a CNC bender to keep up with changing wakeboard tower styles and designs for the 22 boat manufacturers with which it partners.
