Yachting Experts announces personnel move

Yachting Experts, which serves South Florida in yacht sales and service, hired Alessandro Diomedi as a new-construction yacht consultant.

In addition to serving as a yacht broker with Yachting Experts, Diomedi’s role will be to help clients navigate the process of building a new yacht with any shipyard in the world.

“Alessandro has over a decade experience in working with a major international yacht manufacturer,” Yachting Experts dealer principal Frank De Varona said in a statement. “We are delighted that he has decided join Yachting Experts and expand his career by working directly with the customer on a one-on-one basis during the exciting new build process.”

Diomedi worked for the Ferretti Group from 2001 to 2014. He helped develop new sales networks and open yacht dealerships in emerging markets for the Italian yacht builder.

Starting in 2001, Diomedi served as the Ferretti Group’s Asia Pacific sales manager in Singapore, starting dealerships in Hong Kong, China, India, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Malaysia. In 2005 he opened the Ferretti Group office in Shanghai.
