YachtWorld debuts new iPad app

YachtWorld.com recently launched a new iPad app.

The iPad generates the most traffic to YachtWorld.com of any mobile device, the company said, accounting for 18 percent of boat buyers visiting the site in October.

Users can save searches, add yachts to a favorites list, access full-screen viewing and browse editorial of spotlighted yachts, reviews and destinations.

“The YachtWorld iPad app is the latest mobile enhancement we have made as part of our commitment to optimize the boat-buying experience — no matter what device our users choose,” Dominion Marine Media senior vice president and general manager Ian Atkins said in a statement. “With a significant number of users utilizing iPads to browse YachtWorld.com this app is designed to give users all the information they need to be able to communicate effectively with their broker.”

The YachtWorld iPad app is free and can be downloaded in the iTunes store.
