ZF Marine moving to large headquarters

ZF Marine — the marine propulsion systems division of the ZF Group — is relocating its North American headquarters from Hollywood, Fla., to Miramar, Fla., effective Jan.1, 2009.

The new office will be located at 15351 SW 29th Street, Miramar, Fla. 33027.

ZF Marine is now housed in a 32,000-square-foot building, but the new operations in Miramar are nearly double the size at 62,500 square feet.

“This increase in our overall space will help ready us for the addition of future ZF Marine product families, while being more centrally located to better service our customers in South Florida,” said Wolfgang Schmid, general manager, ZF Marine, in a statement.

ZF Marine is a member of the ZF Marine Group, headquartered at ZF Padova SpA Italy. ZF Marine offers complete marine propulsion systems, including transmissions, propellers, control systems, surface drives, POD drives and shaft brakes for all types of vessels.
