Zodiac extends its summer incentive program

Zodiac of North America Inc., a leading manufacturer of inflatable boats and RIBs, is extending and expanding its incentive programs.

"Consumers remain interested in boating, and they are looking at new options to help them boat smarter. Zodiac boats are grabbing their attention - smaller engines, smaller tow vehicles, twice the gas mileage on average — these are real savings for the recreational boater," vice president Gary Durnan said in a statement.

Zodiac summer incentives, valid through Aug. 31 include:

* A free EZ Loader trailer with every Pro 650 Open sold (single outboard application only)

* $500 consumer rebate on Pro Series, Yachtline Deluxe and Avon Seasport.

* The Jetset $5,000 trade-in program allows owners of 2-stroke Zodiac and Avon jet boats $5,000 toward the purchase of a new, greener 4-stroke Jet.

* 25 percent off the 2009 MSRP on both Zodiac Projet 350 and Avon Seasport 320 Jet.

Zodiac closeouts are featured on ZodiacCloseouts.com, a new site to clear out excess inventory by offering reduced pricing on specific inventory.

"Our timing for extending these incentives is essential to the success our dealers are enjoying," Durnan added. "Just as boaters are looking for smarter options, we're giving them reasons to try us. If we can get them on a demo, we have a shot at earning their business."

Zodiac of North America Inc. is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Zodiac Marine and Pool, a Carlyle Group portfolio company.
