Account Manager SOE Marine US - Hella
HELLA Automotive Sales, Inc. is a leader in the Automotive Industry. Located in Peachtree City, Georgia we are looking for an experienced Marine Sales Account Manager for SOE.
Strategy
- Implement customer strategy in agreement with Sales Director and VP Sales US
- Plan and conduct measures and initiatives for regional customer base
- Collect relevant information for key account and regional customer development and communicate to Sales Director, product management and market intelligence
- Report all critical feedback towards the Sales Director and support to increase customer satisfaction
Sales and Customer Management
- Act as “one face to the customer” in US, first escalation level for accounts
- Steering and training of local sales representatives & distributors
- Drive sales activities in the region, esp. for the entire marine product range. Identify opportunistic sales growth opportunities and communicate within customer segment
- Manage accounts (OE & After Market) regarding project coordination, service, quality, adherence to schedule and cost control
- Drive customer interests/requests through customer segment
- Manage the technical changes with regards to customer information, approval, negotiations
- Assess customer satisfaction levels and develop respective action plan if required
- Implement local pricing and conditions based on regional framework defined for customer segment
- Prepare and provide offers for regional customer base or key accounts (in agreement with Sales Director and according to regional guidelines)
- Provide customer with up-to-date technical information and answer all related technical enquiries. Organize technical presentations, also with central support
- Build up network with all relevant technical and commercial customer contacts
- Ensure regular personal contact to customer base, organize customer meetings, demonstrations, represent Hella at fairs in US region
- Gather customer data for accounts and share within customer segment, gather competitor information in the relevant market
- Identify new project or product opportunities and report to Sales Director & product management
Responsibilities
- Turnover/profit and customer satisfaction responsibility in the specific sales region for customer base
- Responsible for volume and turnover planning of marine customers
- Follow up customer segment strategy for accounts to reach overall sales target
- Drive penetration of new products in the specific sales region
- Support Sales Director for assigned key accounts in reaching overall sales budget and achieving customer satisfactio
- Coordinate and tracking of accounts
