QC Manager

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback. The QCM develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and purposed quality and reliability expectations for the finished product. Additionally, this position owns and leads the continuous improvement model for the facility


  • Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
  • Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
  • Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
  • Ensures compliance with the customer requirements, quality policy, company standards, regulatory & external standards
  • Captures, compiles, and presents quality data reports weekly to show visual indicators for current state and trends
  • Works directly with suppliers to ensure compliance of supplied materials
  • Works with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements for external suppliers
  • Writes technical & management system reports
  • Drives an interdepartmental group to plan, formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures
  • Develops, manages, and maintains the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in process materials and components, processes, and finished goods
  • Sets quality compliance objectives and ensures that targets are achieved.
  • Works to stay up-to-date on all regulatory processes that relate to our manufacturing process
  • Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product quality requirements
  • Develops policies and procedures to ensure quality product
  • Facilitates analysis and coordinates activities related to process/system improvement projects
  • Ability to speak to QC concerns and develop trackable action plans for corrective actions
  • Maintains operations data and prepares productivity/quality reports for management
  • Directs and coordinates the activities of team engaged in quality functions – including inspection, analysis, and training
  • Creates and monitors measurements and tools ensuring employees conform to production or processing standards
  • Implements measures to improve inspection methods, equipment/tool performance, product quality, efficiency, and morale
  • Communicates with employees and/or management to address employee suggestions or problems
  • Provide training as needed to production teams


  • Bachelor’s Degree (Industry related field) preferred, and 3 to 5 years related boat manufacturing & quality control experience-or- equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional quality certifications as appropriate.

Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for strategic sourcing, inventory management, and maximizing supply chain effectiveness from the supplier through to production to customer, while ensuring the most cost-effective solutions for Blue Wave Boats/Silver Wave Pontoons. Responsibilities also include planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of purchasing professionals involved in the purchasing of materials needed to run the business efficiently & effectively. The position will ensure team objectives are aligned to the company’s strategic goals and business objectives.


  • Performs strategic sourcing activities to ensure the company has vendors to supply the key materials and components needed to run purchasing and warehousing operations
  • Represents the company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers
  • Measures and monitors vendor performance and health; conducts risk reviews and determines mitigation actions when necessary
  • Monitors market trends and individual material/part sourcing to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Manages and directs the work activities of purchasing professionals to ensure the timely issue of purchase orders and work orders to meet customer demand
  • Ensures the materials resource planning system performs at intended and supports the company’s business objectives and goals\
  • Manages materials costs and scheduling impacts of proposed engineering changes in addition to taking necessary actions to ensure successful implementation and incorporation of approved engineering releases
  • Provides leadership and support for plant materials cost out and continuous improvement activities
  • Develops budgets and resource plans, and monitors performance to achieve product delivery and financial requirements
  • Participates in strategic planning, setting departmental budgets, goals, and metrics, policy, communications, and company culture
  • Trains and mentors supply chain to achieve performance metrics
  • Directs the employment actions of Supply Chain personnel, including hiring, termination, corrective action, and performance management
  • Facilitates analysis and coordinates activities related to process/system improvement projects
  • Communicates with employees and/or management to address employee suggestions or problems
  • Generates requisition for materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services based on planned needs


  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Coordinator or similar role
  • Experience with and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, data mining, analysis, and reporting 
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g., Inventory planning, warehouse management)
  • Skilled at contract writing and negation practices
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Syteline, other modern ERP systems in the manufacturing environment)
  • Analytical mind with business acumen with a strong capability to prioritize projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in data gathering and report writing
  • Professional experience in a manufacturing environment required


  • Bachelor's degree (Industry-related field) preferred, and 3-5 years related boat manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing and warehousing experience - or - equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Professional certifications in industry or field
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills

Customer Service Representative

This role is the primary point of contact for all customer service needs. Bringing resolution to all customer service questions and concerns through finding and directly providing answers to our customers is the primary function for this role. This role will also be the point person for small part sales, and be in support of Director of Customer Experience and the marketing lead with all marketing-related projects.


  • Small Part Sales
  • Manages all non-warranty customer service calls, takes time to research customer and boat background to improve understand required to respon
  • Works to resolve all issues or re-directs to appropriate resource
  • Assists in coordination of presentations for marketing and sales efforts, as well as other Blue Wave Boats events including and not limited to - Board Meetings, Dealer Meetings, Boat Owner gatherings, Road Shows, Dealer Councils
  • Develop communications and presentations intended for public distribution
  • Manages and tracks Customer Satisfaction index.
