We are looking for a Boat Production Supervisor at Arrowcat Boats to oversee elements of production, drive continuous improvement and optimize all processes. This job is located in Clearwater, Fl. We will offer relocation expenses to the right candidate.

General Duties:
The Supervisor will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that will maximize safety, quality and productivity.


  • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed the expectations of our customers and our ownership group
  • Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
  • Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
  • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
  • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
  • Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
  • Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
  • Commit to plant safety procedures Actively coaches and oversees hourly Team Members (20) team members)
  • Trains and motivates Team Members to achieve the highest levels of productivity and quality.
  • Communicates daily schedule with upper management
  • Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
  • Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts


  • Proven work experience as a boat plant production manager and familiarity with the fiberglass lamination process and or boat assembly
  • Proven managerial experience
  • Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
  • Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise
  • Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
  • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
  • Oversee the staff responsible for the following operations: - Skin coat - Rolling fiberglass - Gel coat - Chopper gun operation


  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervision role in a Boat Manufacturing plant.
  • 2 or 4-year college degree preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs & Sheets, Outlook
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must follow all safety standards and procedures
  • Must adhere to all quality standards
  • Must demonstrate a record of dependability and reliability with prior work experience
  • Must be able to work well with teams and in close proximity to each other

We are seeking a highly driven, energetic, and detail-oriented Certified Mercury Outboard Mechanic and a Marine HVAC Service Technician to join our team.

Certified Mercury Outboard Mechanic:
Must be an experienced Mercury Marine Technician, the ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of verifiable Mercury Marine experience and certification as well as an intermediate skill level working on inboard and outboard motors.

The technician is responsible for:

  • Performing inspections, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations as efficiently as possible while ensuring quality work.
  • Keeping work area, tools and service units clean and organized.
  • Performing proper diagnostic procedures.
  • Staying within approved time frame & communicating delays with the service manager.
  • Documenting and communicating any additional work needed.
  • Tagging and storing warranty parts properly.
  • Submitting a complete parts request to the parts department with all unit information.
  • Assisting the service manager explaining work to customers or getting an explanation of customer's concern when communication is challenged
  • Assist mobile service and Seakeeper Gyro project.
  • Assist team members on other projects in the yard as required.
  • Promote Mercury dealership program. Striving for 100% customer satisfaction by repairing items right the first time.
  • Assist customer inquiries over the phone and in-person


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least two (2) year of experience in administrative support and/or customer service
  • MUST have current Mercury Marine certification
  • Experience in marine industry or boating is required
  • Experience with Mercnet and G3
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations and standards involving safety requirements, hazardous waste, OSHA, etc. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Marine HVAC Service Technician:
Responsible for installation, retrofit and repair of marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems installed on luxury yachts. Must be able to utilize the knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipefitting, electrical, mechanical layouts, commercial chiller, and HVAC controls experience. Only those candidates with several years of commercial HVAC experience will be considered. Experience with water source heat pumps and refrigeration is a must.

  • Responsible for servicing products and equipment on luxury yachts and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Performs installations, repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of marine HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
  • Uses power tools and computers
  • Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products onboard luxury yachts.
  • Performs preventative maintenance, surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Performs service on warranty and non-warranty systems.
  • Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining yacht layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.
  • Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need.
  • Provides technical support to customers.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter, organized, professional in manner and appearance, with great people skills that takes pride in their work.

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning or 5 years apprenticeship; and one to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. **Marine HVAC experience is required**

Valid driver's license, EPA Approved Universal Technician Certification License preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.)

This position requires working onboard luxury yachts of all sizes. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock (high voltage); and vibration, Employees are required to provide their own hand tools.
