As a member of the Sales & Marketing team at Barletta Pontoon Boats, you will continuously work towards generating sales and revenue for the company. In this position, you would be the first contact for the prospective buyer, with the goal of nurturing every incoming retail lead through their path to purchase and ultimately aid our dealer body in closing the sale. The position requires someone who is knowledgeable about the boating lifestyle (pontoon boats specifically), can develop trust and build report quickly with the prospective buyer, and is sales minded and driven by achieving continuous growth in revenue. You will be expected to be available Monday through Friday 8am-5pm EST for prospects to reach you via email, phone call, and text. Light travel will be required during boat show season (potentially working a show with dealer partners) and the annual Barletta Pontoon Boats dealer meeting.

Base Salary with Hitch Bonus
Experienced salesperson, well versed in pontoon boats, looking for the “sunset” of the current career from dealership or sales position. This position can be done from home for the right fit, but some time working at Barletta facility will be required to stay fresh on product and team. This position is not a sales-trainee position or entry-level position that will lead to a territory assignment.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Continuously learning about Barletta products
- Communicating with and nurturing leads via phone and email with the end-goal of turning a qualified buyer over to the dealer for closing.
- Follow-up post sale with leads to assess dealer contact and communication
- Working with dealers to enhance and improve lead follow-up processes
- Working to maintain and/or improve CM software
- Sending out brochures that are requested by incoming leads
- Taking phone leads as they come into Barletta
The candidate should plan on first 90 days in office at the Barletta facility.
