Glendinning Products LLC is seeking a customer service technician to join our sales and customer service team. Based in Conway, SC., Glendinning Products LLC is a manufacturer of high quality marine and RV products. Our products include CableMaster, HoseMaster, Electronic Engine Controls, Control Cables, and other specialty products. The customer service technician is responsible for providing an interface between the company and our customers, at all stages in the product cycle – from the point at which the customer calls the company to inquire about the details of one of our products, through supporting the customer placement of the order (working with other members of the customer service team to facilitate order entry, expediting, and shipping), through supporting the person installing the product, and providing service to the end user or dealer during and after the warranty period.

The customer service technician must be thoroughly knowledgeable about all of the technical details of all of the company’s product, know how they should be installed and are installed by OEMs, know how problems can occur during use and how to troubleshoot them, and know how to get them repaired utilizing the various resources available (dealer / distributor network, etc). Most importantly, the customer service technician must be able to clearly and articulately provide information to the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

-Provide excellent customer service throughout the product cycle to all of Glendinning Products customers.

- Knowledgeable about the entire range of the Glendinning product line.

-Provide technical support to Glendinning customers during the product specification and installation process.

- Provide assistance to Glendinning customers during and after the product warranty period.

-Adopt a pro-active attitude to customer technical support, by actively following up on customer inquiries and technical support issues.

-Participate in technical investigations on returned product.

-As required, provide suggestions for product extensions and application engineering solutions.

- As required, provide on-site support to customers and dealers.

- As required, assist the Glendinning sales staff by participating at selected trade shows (marine and RV).


-The ability to interact articulately with customers at all levels of the business via telephone and email.

-The willingness to learn the technical details of all the company’s product line in its entirety.

-Basic computer skills such as typing, accessing databases, opening and viewing drawings and photos.

- Familiarity with recreational yachts or commercial vessels, primarily with marine electrical and propulsion systems.
