Design Engineer Reports to Director of New Product Development with the following attributes:

- Must be a team player with good communication and organizational skills

- Must be proficient in both manual sketching and CAD drafting including 3d solid and surface modeling, 2d drafting as well as both shop level construction details and presentation renderings. Experience in Solid Edge, AutoCAD and Rhino preferred

-Knowledge, experience and understanding of boat design elements including but not limited to, hydrostatics, stability, propulsion, weight studies, systems, interior layouts and deck arrangements

-Minimum of 3 years’ experience in product development and design within the marine industry

- Boating experience required

-Industrial Design experience preferred

-Knowledge and understanding of boat building and production processes preferred
