Safe Harbor Marinas

The General Manager at Pilots Point Marina will be responsible for managing a team of 50+ full time employees. The General Manager is expected to cultivate a team environment that provides exceptional member service while leading the team to ensure all team members consistently perform at a high level. The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of marina/boatyard management including service, slip sales and facility maintenance, to achieve the financial plan while executing company initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

§ Lead day-to-day operations and management of the business

§ Provide a great boating experience for our members

§ Grow and optimize profitability, revenue and member satisfaction

§ Manage budgets, inventory control, and the accounting aspects of the business

§ Knowledge of salary administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable

§ Use discretion when trusted with confidential and sensitive information or materials

§ Oversee service operations including safe operation of all equipment

§ Knowledge of boat maintenance and repairs

§ Lead in the management and training of team members

§ Oversee the maintenance of the property to ensure a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment

§ Oversee sales and member relations

§ Comply with OSHA, EPA, DEEP and Department of Labor rules and regulations

§ Maintain positive relationships with tenants, contractors, and local authorities

Technical and Physical Requirements

§ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required

§ 5 years’ relevant experience

§ Proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of Dockmaster and Netsuite a plus

§ ABYC, CMM and/or other industry certifications

§ Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time

§ Boat handling skills a plus

Safe Harbor Pilots Point Marina is a 870 slip full service marina, hauling and storing 500+ vessels for inside and outdoor storage, spanning over 50-acres. Safe Harbor Pilots Point Marina offers state-of-the-art facilities and equipment that support our experienced technicians while working on vessel maintenance, upgrades and repairs.
