Insetta Boatworks is taking the industry by storm and now we need your help! Here are the positions we are actively recruiting for:

Assistant Production Manager – boat manufacturing

Experienced boat manufacturing professional to manage and mentor production employees, and control quality and time lines in a growing composite boat manufacturing environment. This position reports to the production manager. Strong composite manufacturing experience specifically with vacuum infusion highly desired. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems is a plus. Project management experience desired. Work closely with internal and external customers as required to ensure that custom work is understood and defined so that work, costs and timelines are mutually understood. This is a full time salaried position. This is a working manager position and requires the ability to lift 50 pounds. Some travel is expected.

Mechanical Engineer – composite boats

BS ME or related education and/or experience. Two or more years experience in design and development of boats or in another marine related field. Knowledge of composite processes and design is highly desired. Ability to design parts and assemblies using CAD (solid works) and produce production ready shop drawings and engineering release documentation is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with people from all disciplines to disseminate and gather information is highly desired. This is a hands-on position working alongside of the production team some of the time as part of the engineering and process development. Must be able to identify and source engines, drives, hydraulic, HVAC/mechanical systems, hardware, materials and outside manufacturing or other services as required. Full time salaried position requiring the ability to lift 50 pounds. Occasional travel. Boat building, boat operating or other marine related experience is highly desired.

Marine Mechanic

Reporting to the production manager the successful candidate will have 3 or more years’ experience in the boating industry as a marine mechanic. Theoretical knowledge and experience with all marine systems found in large yachts highly desired. Familiarity with diesel inboard engines, outdrives, and outboard engines is required. The ideal candidate will be factory certified by more than one engine manufacturer. Knowledge of and ability to install and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical distribution, electronic controls and HVAC systems is required. This position will oversee installation, testing, commissioning and service in a boat manufacturing environment. Must be able to oversee and delegate to other team members as required and manage outside contracted labor or installation work. The successful candidate will gather or create boat service documentation, warranty registration and tracking as well as the creation and modification of “as built” documentation for the customer. Strong written and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to lift 50 pounds and travel occasionally to support operations or field service is required. When not doing mechanical work this position will supporting other operations in the factory including manufacturing of composite boats and components.

Composite Boat Laminators/Finishers:

Experienced composite laminators for production and custom work building boats and components. Knowledge of vacuum infusion highly desired but will train candidates with appropriate work experience. Fiberglass and gelcoat application and painting is experience is desirable.
