CWR Wholesale Distribution, the nation’s leading wholesale marine electronics distributor, is looking for qualified candidates to join our inside sales and purchasing team in Tampa, FL. We are searching for individuals with ability and experience as we continue to expand.

SALES AND PURCHASING POSITION

The position entails working with dealers and manufacturers to procure, configure, sell and offer support for various marine electronic systems and boating accessories from our facility in Tampa, Florida. Individuals would be required to optimize inventory and maintain technical knowledge of assigned product lines while offering support to our customers and growing our client base.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of sales/purchasing experience in the marine electronics industry
  • MEI, Advanced MEI and CMET certification a strong plus
  • Strong communication, organization and customer service skills
  • Ability to read, write and respond to emails in a comprehensive, concise and compelling manner
  • Computer literacy with specific strengths in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Familiarity with online and brick & mortar retail venues
  • Ability to travel on occasion
  • Self-starter with a positive, “Can-do” attitude
  • Ability to productively work independently and as part of a team

Outside Sales Representative

Job Description:

The candidate will work to build and strengthen relationships with existing customers while pursuing qualified new business in the territory. The candidate will also provide general support, knowledge, and product information to dealers. The position requires constant travel throughout the territory to meet face to face with prospective and existing dealers.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of marine industry sales experience with hands-on knowledge of marine electronics
  • MEI, Advanced MEI, CMET, or ABYC certification/training a strong plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a strong plus
  • Ability to write in a comprehensive, concise, and compelling manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, primarily Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to manage CRM sales database
  • Familiarity with online and brick & mortar retail business models
  • Ability to productively work independently and as part of a team
  • Attend Industry shows and regional trade events
  • Reliable transportation
