Inside Sales Representative

We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative in our Pompano Beach, FL office to help drive new sales of our one-of-a-kind custom built Floating Dock Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and keeping relationships with new customers while increasing market share. Individual will Work with team members to maintain and strengthen AccuDock’s reputation of exceptional service. If you have the right attitude, we will teach you the ropes!

Responsibilities:

  • Execute a sales process through discovery, solution, pricing, negotiation, and the closing process.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified, prospective customers while maintaining relationships with exciting customers.
  • Maintain a company-owned database (Salesforce CRM) of current customers, prospective customers and past customers to support the marketing and sales effort. Update client data and communications within Salesforce as needed.
  • Follow-up with customers in a timely fashion to maximize sales opportunities. Aggressively pursue all proposals in progress.
  • Proactively prospect for new business and create momentum.
  • Follow Sales Procedures and meet sales objectives.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of AccuDock products.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Prospect/Network for new business, developing relationships with general contractors, builders, commercial developers, property managers, architectural/design community and others.
  • Prepare and present proposals in complete and professional manner per company standards. Follow-up on hard bids and offers value engineered solutions to customers.

  • Assist customers with instructions on installation of products or any other guidance they may need.
  • Research, find, and review project plans and specifications to determine project specific opportunities along with market awareness of planned projects and bidding strategies.
  • Aggressively seek out and identify opportunities for new business, customers and market growth.

Qualifications:

  • 3 + Years of Commercial, Marine Construction and/or Experience as a Salesperson/Estimator.
  • Knowledge of the Marine Industry with a focus on floating docks a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales or Business, preferred.
  • Self-starter who is a team player and can work independently in a dynamic deadline driven environment.
  • Highly Motivated; Can work in a rapidly growing company and industry.
  • Exceptional presentation, verbal, communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Capable of multitasking while managing multiple orders/customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-Motivated with a strong desire to succeed. Ability to stay motivated and focused through a multi-step sales process.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.
  • Must be fluent in spoken and written English language.
  • Reliability/dependability is key – 8am -5pm M-F.

Marine/Mechanical Engineer

AccuDock is actively seeking a Full-Time Marine Engineer to join our team.

We are looking for a Marine Engineer who is proficient in SolidWorks and performing basic calculations. Your primary responsibilities will be managing the shop drawings and creating project layouts.

Managing the shop drawings will require the creation of new drawings as well as revising pre-existing ones. The shop drawings are for the fabrication of all our floating dock components, such as: the floats themselves, aluminum gangways, float frames, anchoring systems, accessories, and custom parts. You will need to have experience in creating SolidWorks drawings, and have some experience in creating drawings for fabrication or machining.

Creating project layouts is for designing and finalizing the details of a floating dock project. This is important for obtaining customer approval. Project layouts will require the ability to use SolidWorks 3D modeling/assembly to illustrate the logistics of a project. Furthermore, drawings will be created using the assemblies to show dimensions and anchoring details, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating shop drawings in SolidWorks for the fabrication of dock products
  • Managing, editing, and revising existing shop drawings in SolidWorks
  • Creating 3D models in SolidWorks of dock projects to obtain customer approval
  • Creating project layouts/drawings in SolidWorks for obtaining permits
  • Working/communicating with our sales team and their customers to assist in the design of their dock project
  • Performing buoyancy and stability calculations
  • Performing structural calculations, especially on gangway truss design
  • New Product Design

Requirements:

  • B.S. Degree in Ocean or Mechanical Engineering (Or similar engineering discipline)
  • M.S. Degree not required but would be beneficial
  • experience in a similar engineering position
  • Proficient in SolidWorks (Both 3D modeling and drawings)
