Lamination Quality Control Inspector

The qualified individual should have a strong background in all phases of composite work along with previous experience manufacturing fiberglass boats.

Perform routine and department-specific quality inspections. Perform and assist in training employees on critical quality matters including process improvement. Works on special projects geared towards product or process improvement. Ensures all products meet internal specifications for quality, and established standards. Consistently monitors inspection guidelines to ensure they are being followed in a consistent manner. Ability to perform independently as well as in a team role, possess good organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changing situations with attention to detail. Senior Design 3D Modeler

The 3D Modeler shall be responsible for planning, creating, developing and maintaining Engineering Drawings & other documentation to support the manufacture, assembly & testing of recreational powerboats product line from concept to final configuration.

Create, develop and maintain 3D models (using RHINO 3D) from specifications and designs. Produce Glass and Core patterns for new models. Produce plug and mold kit designs from models produced by Design Engineers. Verify plugs are being built to design specifications. Update Glass, Core, and Stringer kits as required. Assist with creating and implementing of ECN's produced by Product Development and Engineering. Completing scheduled documentation tasks on time as directed.

Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Certificate in Computer Aided Design required, College level course work in technical area and equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Fast and accurate 3D use of RHINO 3D software package. Ability to create workshop CAD drawing with RHINO

Minimum 3 years of Computer Aided Design experience required. 2D CAD drafting & documentation experience required. 3D CAD modeling skills required, preferably with RHINO. Minimum 3 years of Product development or mechanical systems manufacturing experience/knowledge required. Prefer a candidate with marine design and boat building experience with an interest in boats. Must be highly motivated, well organized, an excellent problem solver and decision maker. Well-developed communication skills. PC proficiency with demonstrated knowledge of MS Office software. Willing to work more than 40 hours per week as necessary to the complete the job.

Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP)

Under minimal supervision, installs, tests and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components for marine/powerboat applications. Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing.

Installs, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to electrical harnesses, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment.

Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical equipment, local and national electrical codes.

3-5 years of proven experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields are required and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas. Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A thorough knowledge of electrical/ electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes. Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with line operators in order to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.
