Marketing Manager

The focus of this job is on achieving results which are aligned with the larger picture of the organization and its strategic goals. Initiative, coupled with a sense of competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions, is the key to achieving the performance objectives of this job. Because environmental and organizational conditions change rapidly, the work involves innovation and creativity in generating ideas for quick response. Self-assurance, and the confidence to purposely drive toward results while constantly problem-solving and engaging the commitment of others is essential. A leadership style that is firm and goal oriented, and yet motivates, trains, and engages others in an enthusiastic way is important. The emphasis on building rapport and relationships with individuals and groups requires an outgoing, poised, and persuasive communication style. The scope of the job may require effective delegation to proven people. Especially routine and repetitive details should be delegated but with responsibility for follow up and accountability for timely results. The job environment is flexible, constantly changing and provides growth opportunity, recognition, and reward for the achievement of business results.

Primary responsibilities and duties:

● Develop creative marketing strategies for current and future product lines

● Organizing and attending promotional events including owner’s events

● Leading and training a team of Marketing Associates throughout our network

● Identifying potential new markets and creating a plan to enter the market

● Brainstorming fresh advertising ideas with senior management

● Manage Marketing operating budget

● Manage our on-line marketing and presence

● Measure, analyze and report on the success of marketing programs

● Design and update website, brochures, and catalogues

● Organize and manage photo shoots


● Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing

● Marketing Degree preferred

● Minimum 3 years of leadership experience

● Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written

● Computer skills, especially Excel

Product Development (PD) Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

This job requires strong analytical and technical abilities and demands fast, but carefully thought-out results. Strong leadership and control of the work process from beginning to end is necessary. The job centers around developing new ideas, systems, and technology, and analyzing and improving on old ones. A high level of expertise is expected and the ability to spot and correct errors is important. Work must be done right and quickly, while always focusing on accomplishing the goal and demanding the highest quality work from co-workers and subordinates. Interest and energy focus primarily on the work at hand, with negligible inclination for small talk or social involvement. The broad scope of the job demands a factual, direct, and authoritative style of communication. Decision-making, though swift, is very calculated and singular, with little reliance on consensus or collaborating opinions.

Primary responsibilities and duties:

● Provide engineering leadership within the Product Development Engineering team

● Manage the development of new products and enhancements of our existing products

● Assist manufacturing in the prototyping of new products into production

● Ensure all models are in compliance with ABYC standards

● Ensure accuracy of 3D digital mockup (DMU) for all new products and product refreshes

● Ensure accuracy of BOMS for all new products and product refreshes

● Ensure daily tasks of the PDE team aligns with company priorities and goals

● Provide status updates on projects to Senior Leadership Team


● Minimum 5 years engineering and/or engineering management experience in boat building industry

● Minimum 3 years in leadership

● Proficient in MS Office applications and/or Google Suite

● Proficient in MS Project or other similar project management software

● Capable of 3D CAD modeling and usage

● Ability to work in team environment

● Ability to multitask

● BS degree in Engineering
