PYI Inc. is a well-known and respected, Seattle-based marine equipment company, operating world-wide since 1981. We are looking to add an experienced and knowledgeable Salesperson to join our Seattle based team.

Our Sales team position requires the following specific skills:

· In-depth knowledge and experience with sailing and sailboats; familiarity with power and work boats a plus

· 5+ years proven success in technical sales of marine products or services

· Energetic professional, able to independently formulate and implement sales plan

· Comfortable with daily computer use; for communication, sales and presentations. CRM experience helpful

· Willing to travel up to 6 weeks per year within North America; set up, staffing and support of boat show booth

· Strong communicator, both verbal and written, including a solid grasp of boating terms; to support our diverse client base across the globe. Multi-lingual candidates welcome

· Open and creative, service-with-a-smile attitude

Additional preferred abilities:

  •  Capable trouble-shooter with ‘seat-of-the-pants’ engineering ability
  •  Hands-on viewpoint; in the shop, on the phone and at the shows
  • Able to learn, manage and continue to grow a successful product line
  • Commitment to learning and growing with PYI
