Our product designs are focused on providing our customers with a carefree boating experience by continuously innovating safety, quality and performance into every product.
We are currently looking for individual to lead our Product Development team.
The primary purpose of the Product Development Manager is to drive product innovation in quality, design and production efficiency, by leading research, design and development efforts of Pontoon Boats and products.
- Responsible for developing, leading and coordinating the product design, development and implementation cycle for all new and existing products.
- Collect design input and research from various stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Ownership, Industry, etc) to make design recommendations using CAD/CAID, mock-ups, models, etc.
- Works with product suppliers to design develop and deliver OEM products according product specifications.
- Oversees the mock-up and fabrication of new designs
- Responsible for building systems for communicating and training production on new models and engineering changes.
- Gathers feedback and corrects design/engineering issues identified by production through ECR/ECN process.
- Build and lead the product development team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in industrial design or engineering.
Desirable:
- Experience using CAD/CAID software.
- Knowledge/experience in marine industry.
