Service Adviser

Oyster Harbors Marine of Osterville, MA seeks a dedicated Service Adviser to work with a team of highly skilled, long tenured service supervisors and technicians to provide a world-class customer experience. The Service Adviser should have a strong understanding of marine systems, be highly organized, have strong communication skills, and be a team player. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the Service Adviser will have a key role in providing repair and upgrade estimates along with oversight and quality control of repair work.

Qualifications –

  • 5+ Years as a Marine Service Adviser or other marine industry experience
  • Strong estimating and hands on marine mechanical experience preferred
  • Deep understanding of boat systems and their proper maintenance
  • Ability to supervise and mentor
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and able to quickly understand other software platforms
  • Boat handling abilities a plus

Service Writer

Oyster Harbors Marine of Osterville, MA seeks a dedicated Service Writer to work with a team of highly skilled, long tenured service supervisors and technicians to provide a world-class customer experience. The Service Writer should have a strong understanding of marine systems, be highly organized, have strong communication skills and be a team player. Reporting directly to and providing administrative support for the Service Manager, the Service Writer will also play a critical role of inspecting boats for needed repairs, potential upgrades, and fitness for customer delivery along with being responsible for numerous other daily tasks that are necessary to provide an outstanding experience for our boat owners.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years as a Marine Service Adviser or other marine industry experience
  • Keen understanding of boat systems and their proper maintenance
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Office suite and able to quickly understand other software platforms

Outboard Engine Mechanic

Oyster Harbors Marine of Osterville is seeking an experienced Outboard Engine Mechanic. Candidates are responsible to identify, diagnose and repair two and four stroke outboard engines and boat systems to include electrical systems, plumbing and rigging. Qualified candidates must be able to communicate with service advisors and the parts department throughout the repair process to aid in the establishment of a proper written estimate/work order. Ideal candidates should already hold certifications in Yamaha and Mercury engine repair and maintenance. This is a full-time position with seasonal overtime.
