Significantly contributes to the development and execution of the Lenco Marine’s strategic growth plan. The Strategic Sales Leader is responsible for developing and successfully meeting sales goals utilizing tactical approaches, working in cross-functional teams, to achieve these growth goals.

Compensation: Based upon Experience


• Develop, manage, execute and update strategic sales plans

• Develop and execute annual sales plans (including existing customer account retention, new customers, new models at existing customers and non-OEM customers) for Lenco’s direct sales and manufacturer’s reps. These plans will be created and updated annually and managed to, by holding formal quarterly performance reviews with each party.

• Develop plans and effectively utilize GMMI sales resources to deliver/exceed sales targets where the GMMI sales resource is the primary owner of the customer relationship

• Manage relationships with outside US sales Channel (Reps, Distributors, and Employees)

• Develop and manage Sales projections and Deliver the associated Revenue

• Develop and manage a Market Share Analysis by boat builder/customer

• Manage relationships OEM’s/Customers

• Participate in new product development activities, including primary ownership for customer adoption of new product introductions and attainment of target new sales streams from product launches. Annual sales plan, in total and with manufacturer’s reps and direct sales resources will have new product introduction targets

• Active in identifying potential areas of concern in the field

• Negotiate contract terms with customers

• Assist in product pricing

• Marketing input for Lenco product

• Other responsibilities as assigned by General Manager


• Overall sales growth, attaining annual and long term sales targets
• Market share gains at identified customers to ensure maximize share of wallet capture
• Attainment of NPI sales and adoption rates
• Meet and exceed margin expectations on specific opportunities, NPIs and in total for Lenco Marine business
