LightHouse Charts Premium service from Raymarine will now include points-of-interest data provided by Marinas.com — an exhaustive, web-based source of marina and waterway information for boaters.

The collaboration means that data is pulled from more than 75,000 marine locations to enable boaters to find and explore key inlets, marinas, waterfront communities, lighthouses and other nautical destinations.

Marinas.com has among the world’s most extensive database of marine locations and major nautical points of interest.

“With LightHouse Charts, boaters now have a sophisticated new choice for marine navigation that delivers rich levels of information in beautiful and simple ways," Gregoire Outters, vice president and general manager of Raymarine, said in a statement. “Marinas.com has been the recognized leader in (point-of-interest) data for boaters for over two decades.”

Raymarine’s LightHouse Charts Premium service also provides subscribers access to continuous chart updates, an enhanced points-of-interest library and high-resolution satellite imagery chart overlays.

"We are laser-focused on creating innovative tools to connect boaters with marinas in real-time," said Mike Melillo, CEO of Dockwa and Marinas.com. “Marinas.com has long been a valued planning tool for boaters, and our new partnership with Raymarine is one exciting example of how we’re constantly expanding those resources.”

Dockwa, Marinas.com’s sister brand, can be used to reserve marina slips.

“Our goal is to make it easier for boaters to research float plans, reserve dock space and get the services they want and need,” Melillo continued. “We’re constantly broadening our selection of marina partners, which helps expedite the administrative side of boating but also enables the marina industry to meet boaters where they are.”

Raymarine Axiom and Element owners can activate their LightHouse Premium data through Raymarine’s online chart manager, where they can download regular chart updates and sync premium content with their LightHouse Charts memory card.

Marinas.com integration for Raymarine LightHouse Charts is available as part of the LightHouse Premium subscription; however, users who purchase the LightHouse Charts will receive a free one-year subscription to LightHouse Premium, a $49.99 value.
